About Us

What Doomrah Battleground is, and why we built it.

What is Doomrah Battleground?

Doomrah Battleground is a guild management platform for World of Warcraft. Sign in with Discord, link your Battle.net account, and manage your guild's roster, events, recruitment, and community all from one place. Your characters sync directly from Blizzard's API — Retail, Classic Era, and Classic Progression (currently MoP Classic) are all supported.

What Can You Do?

  • Roster Management — Your characters belong to guilds, not just your Discord account. Add multiple toons, designate mains and alts, set a Guild Master per game version, and manage who's in your guild down to the individual character.
  • Events & Calendar — Schedule raids, dungeons, PvP nights, and social events with a monthly calendar view. Set Tank/Healer/DPS slots, track signups, and configure a lockout window so people can't bail last-minute.
  • Recruitment — Open applications, review them with your officers, and bring in new members. Applicants can attach their characters so you can see what they're bringing to the table.
  • War Stories — Share your guild's memorable moments with a built-in rich-text editor. Comment on stories, report inappropriate content, and let your officers moderate.
  • Announcements — Post announcements that appear as a banner on your guild dashboard. Set them to expire after a day, a week, or keep them permanent.
  • Roles & Permissions — Guild Leader, Officer, Member, Peon — each with granular permissions. Control who can manage the roster, approve applications, post announcements, create events, and more.
  • Audit Log — Every action in your guild is tracked. See who kicked a member, who approved an application, who changed settings — full transparency.

Why We Built It

Guild management is scattered across Discord bots, spreadsheets, Google Docs, and half a dozen websites that haven't been updated since Wrath. We wanted one clean platform where everything lives together — your roster, your events, your recruitment, your stories. Built by guild leaders, for guild leaders.

What's Coming Next

The near-term roadmap is focused on making guild management genuinely better than the spreadsheet-and-Discord status quo: Warcraft Logs integration for automatic attendance, character progress tracking (ilvl, M+ score), gear audit tools, and event waitlists. Further out, the foundation is designed to support multi-game guilds — EVE Online corporations and Final Fantasy XIV Free Companies are ideas we're exploring. Check the Updates page to see what's shipped recently.

Who Is This For?

Anyone who runs a guild, leads a raid team, or just wants a better way to keep their gaming community organized. Whether you're a 10-person Mythic+ squad or a 200-person multi-game organization, the platform scales with you. Currently in open beta — sign in with Discord to get started.

Behind the Scenes

Doomrah Battleground is a solo project built by Doomrah — a software and DevOps engineer by trade. This started as a vibe coding project, using AI-assisted development to move fast and build features that would normally take a full team. But vibe coding doesn't mean cutting corners. My background is in enterprise software, CI/CD pipelines, and production infrastructure, and the people helping me through this project are experienced software developers and architects.

We take security, testing, and stability seriously. The platform has a full automated test suite, API security hardening, role-based access control, and a multi-environment pipeline. Features are developed and tested on separate database branches before being pushed to production — nothing goes live without passing through the pipeline first.

You'll notice the site is intentionally light on images and heavy graphics. That's by design — less bloat means faster page loads, lower bandwidth costs, and a snappier experience for everyone. It's a one-person operation with a professional engineering mindset. No VC funding, no bloated team, no feature creep for the sake of metrics. Just the tools guild leaders actually need, built lean and built right.

The Name

Doomrah has been my gamer tag since WoW Vanilla — I was the main tank, an Orc Warrior, and I thought Doomrah sounded like the kind of name that belonged on the front line. It stuck. It's carried through every game I've played since.
